Content of the active substance (s) and other substances:
Florfenicol – 300 mg / ml.
Treatment of diseases caused by florfenicol-sensitive microorganisms. Cattle: Florfenicol is intended for the treatment of respiratory infections in young and adult cattle caused by Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni and contagious keratoconjunctivitis in cattle against the background of Moraxella bovis infection. Pigs: Florfenicol is intended for the treatment of respiratory infections caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida.
Do not use in piglets under 2 kg. Do not use in lactating cattle. Do not use in boars and bulls intended for reproduction. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
After the injection of the preparation, especially in young pigs, there may be loosening of the stool and redness of the anus. These symptoms should resolve after 2–4 days after the last dose. The injection site may occur transiently tissue reaction. The drug is administered intramuscularly at a dose of 20 mg of the active substance per kg of body weight, twice, with an interval of 48 hours.
Recommendations for correct administration:
Use according to the information provided in the information leaflet. Withdrawal period: Cattle – edible tissues – 30 days, pig – edible tissues – 14 days. The product is not approved for use in animals producing milk for human consumption.
Special precautions for storage:
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store at a temperature below 25°C. Protect from light. Do not use the veterinary medicinal product after the expiry date stated on the label. The expiry date is the last day of the month in question. Shelf life after first opening the immediate packaging: 21 days.
