Composition of the active substance and excipients:
sodium sulfachloropyrazine monohydrate 30g/100g

INDICATIONS:
Chickens ( broilers, hens): Treatment of coccidiosis caused by E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. mitis (mivati), E. praecox. Treatment of infections caused by Salmonella gallinarum, after prior taking into consideration the Regulation (EC) No 1177/2006, and the current national programmes of  the salmonella control in poultry. For adjunctive therapy in the treatment of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens, if the concomitant coccidosis is confirmed. Treatment of catarrh and nasal congestion (in Latin: Coryza contagiosa) caused by Haemophilus paragallinarum. Turkeys (broilers): Treatment of coccidiosis caused by E. adenoides, E. meleagrimitis. Rabbits: Treatment of infections caused by Pasteurella multocida.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to sulphonamides or any of the excipients.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:
None known. The occurrence of adverse reactions after administration of the product or observing any distressing symptoms not listed in this leaflet (including symptoms in humans by contact with the drug), the competent veterinary surgeon, the responsible subject or The Office for Registration of  Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products should be notified immediately. The application form can be downloaded from the website http://www.urpl.gov.pl (Department of Veterinary Medicinal Products).

Target animal species:
Chickens ( broilers, hens), turkeys (broilers), rabbits.

Dosage for every kind of animal species and administration route:
Administer 120 mg of the product per 1kg of body weight that is 36 mg of the active substance per 1kg of body weight. Chickens and turkeys: apply 1 g of the product per 1l of drinking water for 3 days. If poultry is infected by E. tenella or E. necatrix, the concentartion of the product may be increased up to 1,5 – 2,0 g per 1liter of drinking water. Rabbits: apply 2 g of the product per 1 l of drinking water for 3 days.
The product should be administered in drinking water. Fresh solution should be prepared daily. It should be the only source of drinking water for animals. If the water consumption is higher than the calculated volume, the additional water without the product should be given to animals. Do not change consumption habits of animals during treatment. Hens, which eggs are not designed for human consumption, should be treated at the beginning of laying eggs. Water consumption depends on many factors, such as clinical condition of animal and environmental conditions. For calculation it was assumed that animals uptake about 60 ml of water per 1kg of body weight.

Withdrawal period:
Hens for eating: 16 days, edible meat turkeys: 28 days, rabbits and edible tissues: 15 days. Do not use in laying hens producing eggs intended for human consumption.

Special precautions for storage:
Store below 25ºC. Protect from light. Shelf-life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 2 years. Shelf life after first opening the immediate packaging: 30 days. Shelf life after reconstitution as per instructions: 24 hours.
