Flumequine 10 g / 100 g.

Indications for use:
The product is intended for the treatment of diseases of the digestive and respiratory system of chickens and calves. Especially in periprostal infections, salmonellosis, colibacillosis, hen pasturelosis. In respiratory and urinary tract infections and diarrhea caused by bacteria in calves. Microbes susceptible to the product: E. coli, Salmonella sp., Klebsiella sp., Pasteurella sp., Staphylococcus sp., And Streptococcus sp. Contraindications: Do not use in calves with developed preterophagic function.

Side effects:
Unknown. If you experience side effects after the administration of this product or notice any alarming symptoms not mentioned in the leaflet (including human symptoms due to contact with the drug), please inform the responsible veterinarian, responsible entity or the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. The application form should be downloaded from the website http://www.urpl.gov.pl (Division of Medicinal Veterinary Products).

Target animal species:
Cattle (calves), hen.

Dosage for each species, route (s) and route of administration:
Dosage: Hens: 100–150 ml of the medicine per 100 l of drinking water (80–150 mg of flumequine per 10 kg), daily for 3 -5 days. Calves: 1,25–1,75 ml per 10 kg of bodyweight (125–175 mg of flumequine per 10 kg of body weight), daily administration in drinking water for 3–5 days. The solution must be prepared every day. The medical solution should be the only source of drinking water. Every day fresh solution should be prepared medicinal. In order to avoid underdosing body weight of the treated animals should be estimated as accurately as possible. The consumption of water depends on the clinical status of the animals. In order to ensure the correct dosage, the concentration of the medicinal solution should be adjusted accordingly.

Recommendations for proper administration:

Withdrawal period:
Cattle (calves) – edible tissues – 6 days, chickens – edible tissues – 20 days. Do not use in hens producing eggs for human consumption.

Special precautions for storage:
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store at a temperature below 25°C. Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the label. Shelf life after first opening the immediate packaging: 6 months and not longer than the end of the period of validity of the medicinal product after first opening the container. Shelf life: 24 hours after dilution or reconstitution instructions.
