Fenbenat, 40 mg / g, premix for medicated feeding for pigs.
The content of active substance (s) and other substances:
1 g of product contains: Active substance: Fenbendazole 40 mg.
Therapeutic indications:
Treatment of parasitic infestations in pigs caused by nematodes sensitive to fenbendazole, i.e.: Hyostrongylus rubidus, Ascaris suum, Strongyloides ransomi, Oesophagostomum spp., Trichuris suis, Metastrongylus spp.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to fenbendazole.
Side effects:
Unknown. If you experience side effects after the administration of this product or notice any alarming symptoms not mentioned in the leaflet (including human symptoms due to contact with the drug), please inform the responsible veterinarian, responsible entity or the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. Dosage for each species, route (s) and method of administration:
The therapeutic dose of fenbendazole is 5 mg / kg, which corresponds to 1.25 g of product per 10 kg of body weight. The animals should be fed medicated feed containing 2.3 kg of the product per ton of feed or 425-500 g per tonne for 1 day or 6 consecutive days, respectively. Before administration, it is recommended to sweeten the animals without feeding them the previous day. The product should be used in the event of symptoms of parasite invasion or prophylactic, not more often than every 6 months. In order to reduce the risk of parasite resistance to fenbendazole, the product should be used on the farm up to 8 times. Then it is recommended to change the product of counteractors with a different mechanism of action. In order to reduce the risk of reinvigation, good treatment and hygiene practices should be implemented. A single deworming is sufficient to achieve this.

Special precautions for storage:
Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Store below 25ºC. Do not use this veterinary medicinal product after the expiry date stated on the package leaflet. The expiry date is the last day of the month in question.

2 years.
Shelf life after addition to food or granulated feed:
6 days.
