Iwermektyna Vetos-Farma, 10 mg / ml, solution for injection for cattle, sheep and pigs.
The content of active substance and other substances:
1 ml of the product contains: Active substance: Ivermectin 10 mg.
Therapeutic indications:
Combating invasive diseases caused by nematodes and ectoparasites in cattle, pigs and sheep. Cattle (meat cattle and dried cows): Gastrointestinal nematodes: mature and L4: Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Cooperia pectinata, Cooperia oncophora, Cooperia punctata, Bunostomum phlebotomum, Oesophagostomum radiatum, mature and L4 and hypobiotic larvae: Ostertagia ostertagi, mature: Ostertagia lyrata, Nematodirus helvetianus, Nematodirus spathiger, Strongyloides papillosus; lungworm: Dictyocaulus viviparus (mature and L4); other nematodes: Thelazia spp. (mature). Gzy: Hypoderma bovis (larval stages) and Hypoderma lineatum (larval stages); lice of the species (mature, larvae, nymphs): Haematopinus eurystemus, Linognathus vituli and Solenopotes capillatus; mites: Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis, Psoroptes bovis. Sheep: gastro-intestinal nematodes: Haemonchus contortus (mature and L4), Chabertia ovina (mature and L4), Trichuris ovis (mature) and Cooperia curticei (mature and L4), Ostertagia circumscripta, Ostertagia trifurcata (mature and L4), Trichostrongylus axei, T. vitrinus (mature), T. columbiformis (mature and L4), Nematodirus filicolis (mature and L4). Invasions of nasal larvae Oestrus ovis. Pigs: lice invasion Haematopinus suis, scabies Sarcoptes scabie var. suis. Invasion of nematodes: Ascaris suum (mature and L4), Hyostrongylus rubidu (mature and L4), Oesophagostomum spp. (mature and L4), Trichuris suis (mature), Strongyloides ransomi (mature), Metastrongylus spp. (mature). Ivermectin Vetos-Farma administered at the recommended dose prevents re-invasion of Haemonchus placei, Cooperia spp. And Trichostrongylus axei for 14 days after drug administration, Ostertagia ostertagi and Oesophagostomum radiatum for 21 days after drug administration and invasion of Dictyocaulus viviparus for 28 days after drug administration. The product given to the worm 7-14 days before delivery prevents milk invasion of Strongyloides ransomi in piglets.
Contraindications:
Do not use in other animal species. Fatal intolerances were reported in dogs, especially in collies, Old English sheepdogs, related breeds and hybrids, and turtles. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients. Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.
Side effects:
After subcutaneous administration of the drug, occasionally transient edema at the injection site has been observed in the animals. After subcutaneous administration of the drug, the occurrence of a pain response caused by the product was sporadically observed. All these reactions resolved spontaneously. If you experience side effects after the administration of this product or if you notice any disturbing symptoms not mentioned in the leaflet (including human symptoms due to contact with the medicine), please inform the competent veterinarian, responsible entity or the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. Cattle, sheep, pig.
Dosage for each species, route (s) and route of administration:
Administer by subcutaneous route only. The product is used as a subcutaneous injection in the following doses: cattle, sheep: 0.2 mg of ivermectin / kg of body weight; pigs: 0.3 mg of ivermectin / kg of body weight.
Application:
Cattle, sheep: 1 ml of the product for 50 kg of body weight preferably in the skin fold behind the shoulder blade; pigs: 1 ml of product per 33 kg of body weight around the neck.
Recommendations for correct administration:

Withdrawal period:
Edible tissues: cattle – 35 days, sheep – 42 days, pigs – 28 days. Do not use in cows and sheep that produce milk for human consumption. In milk cows during dry period and pregnant heifers, use no later than 60 days before the planned delivery.
Special precautions for storage:
Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Store below 25°C. Protect from light. Do not use this veterinary medicinal product after the expiry date which is stated on the label. The expiry date is the last day of the month in question.
Shelf life after first opening the immediate packaging: 28 days.
