Content of the active substance (s) and other substances: 100 g of premixture contains:
Active substance: Ivermectin 0.6 g Indications: Treatment and control of invasion: nematodes: Ascaris suum (adults and larvae L4), Hyostrongylus rubidus (adults and L4 larvae), Oesophagostomum spp. (adults and larvae L4), Strongyloides ransomi (adult forms), Metastrongylus spp. (adults); lice: Heamatopinus suis; mycelium: Sarcoptes scabiei var suis. Ivermectin Vetos-Farma premix, given to pregnant sows before brood, prevents the transmission of S. ransomi nematodes from mother to piglets with sucked milk.
Do not use in other animal species. Fatal intolerances were reported in dogs, especially collies, Old English sheepdogs, related breeds and hybrids, and turtles. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance. Side effects: Unknown. If you experience side effects after the administration of this product or if you notice any disturbing symptoms not mentioned in the leaflet (including human symptoms due to contact with the medicine), please inform the competent veterinarian, responsible entity or the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. The therapeutic dose of ivermectin is 0.1 mg / kg of body weightfor 7 consecutive days. The procedure for making a premix mixture with concentrate feed depends on the weight of the animals for which it is prepared. For piglets up to 40 kg (consuming a minimum of 50 g of feed per 1 kg of body weight), a mixture is prepared in a ratio of 333 g premix per 1 ton of feed. Feed this feed for 7 consecutive days. For pigs weighing from 40 to 100 kg (consuming a minimum of 42 g of feed per 1 kg of body weight), a mixture of 400 g premix per 1 tonne of feed. In order to mix the premix well with the feed, a premix is preprepared at a ratio of 1 part premix / 10 parts feed and then topped up with the feed to the desired amount.
Recommendations for proper administration:
Meat and offal: 12 days.
Special precautions for storage:
Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Store below 25°C. Store in a dry place. Do not use this veterinary medicinal product after the expiry date which is stated on the label. The expiry date is the last day of the month in question.
Shelf life after mixing with feed:
Package size: 85 g, 100 g, 170 g, 200 g, 340 g, 400 g, 680 g and 800 g. Some pack sizes may not be available on the market. The official recommendations for including premixes with the final feed should be taken into account. The contents of the opened packaging should be used immediately.
