Content of the active substance (s) and other substances:
Oxytetracycline hydrochloride – 50 g / 100 g.

Indications:
Oxytetracycline is used in pigs, calves, chickens and turkeys (excluding laying eggs for eggs) in bacterial diseases of the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, kidney, bladder, umbilical cord infections caused by organisms susceptible to oxytetracycline. Oxytetracycline is the first-line drug in the treatment of diseases such as Lyme disease and rickettsiasis.

Contraindications:
Do not use in cattle with developed preterophagic function. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to tetracyclines, and in the case of kidney failure and liver.

Side effects:
Use of the product for a long time may lead to gastrointestinal disturbances and intestinal flora (secondary infections). Oxytetracycline therapy may result in hypersensitivity to light. Hypersensitivity reactions, hepatotoxicity, and hematologic effects occur rarely. Tetracyclines are deposited in deciduous and permanent teeth, causing their discoloration, enamel retardation and poor mineralization. Tetracyclines may inhibit the development of the fetal skeleton. High doses or long-term administration may delay bone growth and healing processes in young animals. If you experience side effects after the administration of this product or notice any alarming symptoms not mentioned in the leaflet (including human symptoms due to contact with the drug), please inform the responsible veterinarian, responsible entity or the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. Target animal species:
Pig, cattle (calf), turkey, hen.

Dosage for each species, route (s) and route of administration:
For calves and pigs, the recommended dose is 10–30 mg of oxytetracycline hydrochloride / kg / day for 3–5 days, corresponding to 20–60 mg of the product / kg. The recommended dose should be divided into two parts. For chickens and turkeys, the recommended dose is 10–25 mg oxytetracycline hydrochloride / kg / day for 3–5 days, which is 20–50 mg of the product / kg. The product should be administered in the drinking water. Every day you need to prepare a fresh solution. During treatment, the product solution should be the only source of drinking water for animals. In order to avoid incorrect dosing, the body weight of treated animals should be estimated as accurately as possible. Fluid intake is dependent on many factors including the age, clinical condition of the animal, environmental conditions. In order to ensure correct dosage should be monitored for the consumption of liquid and to adjust the concentration of a medicinal solution. If this is not possible, use another veterinary medicinal product.

Edible tissues: pig, cattle (calf), turkey, hen – 21 days. The product is not approved for use in birds producing eggs for human consumption.

Special precautions for storage:
Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Store at a temperature below 25°C. Protect from light. Do not use the veterinary medicinal product after the expiry date stated on the label.
