Content of active substance and other substances:
Amoxicillin trihydrate – 60 g / 100 g.

Indications for use:
The product is used to treat primary and secondary infections with amoxicillin-sensitive microorganisms. It is used especially in the treatment of diseases of the respiratory, digestive and genitourinary, skin and soft tissues: in the treatment of swine Glässer disease (infection caused by Haemophilus parasuis), porcine dermatitis caused by Staphylococcus hyicus, porcine diarrhea, staphylococcal arteritis (staphylococcus).

Contraindications:
Do not use in rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and other small rodents. Do not use in animals allergic to penicillin and cephalosporins. Do not use in animals with severe renal impairment connected to anuria and oliguria. Do not use in infections caused by β-lactamase producing microorganisms.

Adverse reactions:
Hypersensitivity reactions (skin reactions, anaphylaxis). In case of an allergic reaction discontinue the administration of the product. Apply life-saving procedures immediately. In the case of anaphylaxis intravenous administration of adrenaline and glucocorticoids; in the case of skin reaction to give antihistamines and corticosteroids. If you experience side effects after the administration of this product or notice any alarming symptoms not mentioned in the leaflet (including human symptoms due to contact with the drug), please inform the responsible veterinarian, responsible entity or the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. The application form should be downloaded from the website http://www.urpl.gov.pl (Division of Medicinal Veterinary Products).

Target species:
pig, hen.

Dosage for each species, route (s) and route of administration:
Pigs: 0,16–0,24 g of the product per 10 kg of body weight (100–150 mg of amoxycillin trihydrate per 10 kg) per day, given in two portions. Serve in drinking water for 3–5 days. Chickens 0,16–0,24 g of the product per 10 kg of bodyweight (100–150 mg of amoxicillin trihydrate per 10 kg of body weight) per day, given in two portions. Serve in drinking water for 3–5 days. At the end of treatment, the drinking device should be washed carefully to prevent animals from taking antibiotic residues. In order to avoid incorrect dosing, the body weight of treated animals should be estimated as accurately as possible. Each time a fresh solution should be prepared from half the daily dose, which is calculated taking into account the average weight of treated animals and the amount of water they drink, according to the formula:

During the treatment solution of the product should be the only source of drinking water for the animals. The consumption of water depends on many factors, including the clinical condition of the animal, environmental conditions. To ensure the correct dosage, the intake of water should be monitored and the concentration of the medicinal solution adjusted accordingly. If this is not possible, a different veterinary medicinal product should be used.

Recommendations for the correct application:
Use in accordance with the information given in the leaflet.

Withdrawal period:
Edible tissues: pig – 10 days, hen – 5 days. The product is not approved for use in birds producing eggs for human consumption.

Special precautions for storage:
Store below 25ºC.
Do not use the veterinary medicinal product after the expiry date stated on the label. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Shelf life after first opening the immediate packaging: 9 months. Shelf life after reconstitution according to 12 hours.

Pack size: 100 g and 500 g. Some pack sizes may not be available on the market.
