Name of the veterinary medicinal product:
Enrofloxacin Vetos-Farma, 100 mg / ml, solution for administration in drinking water for chickens and turkeys.
Content of active substance and other substances:
1 ml of the product contains: active substance: enrofloxacin 100 mg; excipients: benzyl alcohol (E 1519) 10 mg.
Therapeutic indications:
Treatment of infections caused by the following enrofloxacin-sensitive bacteria: Mycoplasma gallisepticum chickens, Mycoplasma synoviae, Avibacterium paragallinarum, Pasteurella multocida; turkeys Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, Pasteurella multocida.
Contraindications:
Do not use in prophylaxis. Do not use if the resistance / cross-resistance to (fluoro) quinolones is confirmed in the flock to be treated. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to quinolones or any of the excipients.
Side effects:
Unknown. If you experience side effects after the administration of this product or if you notice any disturbing symptoms not mentioned in the leaflet (including human symptoms due to contact with the medicine), please inform the competent veterinarian, responsible entity or the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. The application form should be downloaded from the website http://www.urpl.gov.pl (Division of Medicinal Veterinary Products).

Hen, turkey.
Dosage for each species, route (s) and method of administration:
The drug should be used orally after dilution in water. Hens and turkeys: 10 mg of enrofloxacin / kg of body weight (1 ml of the product per 10 kg of body weight) per day for 3–5 consecutive days. Administered for 3–5 consecutive days; in case of mixed infections or progressive chronic infections for 5 days. If clinical improvement is not achieved within 2–3 days, alternative antimicrobial treatment should be considered based on the results of sensitivity tests.
Recommendations for correct administration:
In order to avoid incorrect dosing, the body weight of treated animals should be estimated as accurately as possible. Fluid intake is dependent on many factors including the age, clinical condition of the animal, environmental conditions. Adult birds in hot times and young birds drink 2 to 4 times more water. To ensure the correct dosage, the intake of fluids should be monitored and the concentration of the medicinal solution adjusted accordingly. If this is not possible, use another veterinary medicinal product. Water from the drug should be the only source of drinking water. A fresh treatment solution should be prepared daily.
Withdrawal period (s):
Hens: edible tissues: 7 days; turkey offal: 13 days. The product is not approved for use in birds producing eggs for human consumption. It should not be used in young laying birds during 14 days before the start of the laying period.
Special precautions for storage:
Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Store at a temperature below 25°C. Protect from light. Do not use the veterinary medicinal product after the expiry date stated on the labeling-leaflet. Shelf life after first opening the container: 30 days. Shelf life after reconstitution according to directions: 24 hours.

Pack size and type: PET bottle (brown) with a HDPE screw cap (white) with warranty protection, containing 100 ml of the product. HDPE (white) with a cap made of LDPE (black) with a tamper containing 1000 ml and 5000 ml of the product.
